How To Log Out Of Minecraft For Mac

Forgive me if this has been answered, but I didn't see anything with this new discussion search...
I am trying to share some files on my ibook with my dad's PC. I created a user called 'share' and put the files I want to share in the public folder on 'share'. I turned on windows file sharing, and enabled the 'share' account, and my account just in case. I reset my password. Then I came to the PC, and created a 'new network place' using the address specified in the sharing pane. The PC found it fine. Then it asked for the password in a separate little window. I typed 'share' for the user and ' ***' for the password. The window disappears and comes back, with 'DADSONYshare' in the username field (dadsony is the name of the pc) and the password field filled in. I click ok. the window disappears and immediately comes back. It does this on two different pc's on the network. I tried logging in to the 'share' account, and to my user account, with the same problem every time. I can't find anything in the support pages...
anyone??
Thanks!

How to log out of minecraft for mac free

Want to find the Minecraft World files on your Mac so you can move them to another computer and share them with others? There are a few extra steps compared to locating them on Windows computers, however it is still a pretty straightforward process.

First, open the Terminal application on your Mac and type the following then hit enter: $ defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles true

Now type killall Finder and hit enter:

This will show all of the hidden files on your Mac. You can now navigate to the 'saves' folder which contains all of your Minecraft worlds. The path from your home folder will be Library > Application Support > minecraft > saves as per the screenshot below.

Once done moving your Minecraft worlds you may want to hide those formely hidden files again, as they can be annyoing, cluttering up your folders. If this is the case, go back to the Terminal and enter $ defaults write com.apple.Finder AppleShowAllFiles false followed by killall Finder and they will be hidden again:

The full path for your Minecraft save files in Windows is: C: Users Angi AppData Roaming.minecraft saves (Substitute your own user name on your computer for 'Angi', of course.) For versions of Minecraft after 1.5.2 (currently, this means snapshot versions), there is a new launcher in the works, and the paths to the.jar files are slightly.
